The Townhouse Series: brand films and photography that open The Montauk Lighting Co’s heritage space, its chandeliers and its feature lighting, one statement piece at a time.
The challenge
The Townhouse is The Montauk Lighting Co’s heritage space, filled with lighting, furniture and homewares and made to be walked through. They needed films that carry that atmosphere, and the craft in each piece, to people who haven’t been through the door yet.
What we did
We film, photograph and produce The Townhouse Series. Part I opens on the heritage space itself, Part II turns to its chandeliers and Part III to its feature lighting. The photography follows the same pieces, from the rooms they light to the detail in each one.

Part I opens on the heritage space itself: its rooms, the light moving through them and the way each one is styled, so the visit starts before anyone walks through the door.

Part II turns to the chandelier collection, one statement piece at a time, staying close to the craftsmanship, materiality and light in each.

Part III shows the feature lighting at The Townhouse, from timeless classics to sculptural statements, contemporary icons to original artisan pieces, capturing the form, detail and character of lighting by leading designers and makers from around the world.
Photography
Shot alongside the films, the photography moves from the rooms at The Townhouse to the pieces within them: alabaster, brass and glass, and the light each one throws. A library of images for Montauk’s website, social and print.
